I love how Jam responds when you pull tiles against each other, it feels very natural. But very useful for tiling would be for the motion to "snap" (i.e. provide some resistance to motion) when vertices, especially more than one vertex, are aligned. In particular, that would make it easier to align the edges of two tiles that touch only along a single edge.
